Discovered Apps Classification Categories
Take action of newly discovered apps by classifying each app into an approval category. This new feature centralizes the discovery, review, and approval process of apps, allowing your team to take appropriate next steps in managing the apps or prohibiting utilization going forward.
New categories include:
- Unclassified
- Under Review
- Approved
- Unapproved
- Ignored
Users can also filter apps by category and take appropriate actions accordingly.

Remote Activation of Browser Extension Enhancement
Previously, IT admins could only remotely activate the Josys browser extension on end users’ laptops if the email was available on the device. With this release, admins can now use any unique device identifier (such as a login name) available on the laptop to remotely activate the browser extension. Add the Device Identity to a user profile’s Identities section within Josys.
Intune Integration Enhancements
If a device is deleted on Intune, it will remain in your Josys device inventory. Its source will switch from MDM to “Josys”, allowing users to continue managing this device within Josys.

License Optimization & Privileged Access Monitoring
We added License Optimization and Privileged Access Monitoring support for 6 more applications, expanding the total number of supported applications to 27. Users will now have visibility into procured licenses, app usage information, and accounts with privileged access on:
- Zoom
- Backlog
- Webex,
- LucidChart
- Zendesk
- Hubspot

Google Workspace App Usage Enhancement:
Now you get better insights into a user’s Google Workspace utilization. Instead of relying solely on “Last Login,” Josys now combines “Last Email Interaction” and “Last Login” to assess account activity.
Account Deletion:
- We added support for deleting accounts and shadow users for the following apps:
- Google Analytics
- Karte
- Google Cloud Platform
Bug Fixes:
- The issue of receiving incorrect device decommission emails has now been resolved.
- The issue where deactivated HubSpot accounts were incorrectly displayed as active on Josys was resolved.
- The issue with importing deactivated accounts on Miro Enterprise has been resolved. Only active accounts will now be imported.
- The permission issue on List User Profile API has been resolved.
Integration issues on Receptionist, Free HR and HERP Hire have been resolved.
