A recent survey of 500 IT departments revealed that two-thirds of organizations lack sufficient automation for their provisioning, deprovisioning, and access review workflows. Alarmingly, 52% of companies reported that it takes over five hours to set up an employee with the proper SaaS apps—and for nearly 20%, it takes multiple workdays.

These inefficiencies not only hinder productivity but also put undue stress on IT teams. That’s where our Access Governance Toolkit comes in.

Our new self-service employee portal offers a custom-branded experience where end users can easily visualize their app footprint and submit IT requests, including license requests, permission modifications, and procurement evaluations. The portal provides a dedicated dashboard for employees to track request progress and communicate directly with approvers. Importantly, all requests are archived to meet compliance requirements.

Streamlined Workflows with No-Code Automation

To further reduce the burden on IT teams, we’ve introduced a powerful no-code workflow builder that allows administrators to automate approval processes. This action engine enables customized workflows based on criteria such as app category or departmental policy and supports tiered approval structures when multiple stakeholders are involved.

Approvers receive instant Slack or email notifications to complete their reviews, and automated approval or rejection rules can expedite responses. All request activity is aggregated into a global dashboard, giving IT teams a single pane of glass for process oversight and SLA tracking.

Finally, IT teams have a consolidated view into their tasks to compete and provision access. Each request has an audit log of who requested access, who approved access, and all notes and comments submitted by each individual. This level of transparency makes audit requests and compliance policies simple to fulfill. 

Intelligent Access Reviews

Security and compliance remain top priorities for IT leaders. Our enhanced access review capabilities support multi-app surveys ideal for tracking access across quarterly or annual cycles. The improved analytics simplify data aggregation and facilitate proactive survey follow-up.

Recognizing the need for flexibility, we’ve also optimized the experience for mobile users, making it easier for end users to complete surveys on the go. This enhancement has already led to improved survey completion rates.

Expanding App Coverage and Strengthening Security

We’re proud to announce that Josys now has direct API integrations with over 320 SaaS applications, including recent additions like OpenAI, Kandji, Sage HR, and Addigy. Additionally, we’ve expanded multi-factor authentication (MFA) monitoring to 30 apps, enabling IT admins to quickly identify user accounts without MFA enabled on critical applications such as Okta, Salesforce, Slack, and Zendesk.

These advancements not only improve app coverage but also fortify security by reducing vulnerabilities associated with incomplete authentication setups.
