When I first connected with Shaun Delorez, Global IT Manager at Quantum Brilliance, I could tell right away that this wasn’t a team struggling with talent or initiative but a visibility problem. They were growing fast, operating across borders, and juggling dozens of SaaS apps without a clear system. Roughly 60 percent of their IT budget was going to SaaS, yet they didn’t have the real-time data to track where that spend was going.
They were managing everything out of spreadsheets. Procurement was decentralized, offboarding was manual, and security controls were limited. It was a classic case of scale outpacing structure. Shaun knew things needed to change for efficiency and support their long-term security goals, including ISO 27001 compliance.
The biggest issue wasn’t just cost. It was risk. When apps are purchased ad hoc without visibility, you open the door to shadow IT. Add in globally distributed teams, and knowing who has access to what becomes nearly impossible.
That kind of environment leads to licenses being paid for but never used. Worse, it leaves behind orphaned accounts when contractors or employees leave. Every one of those is a security exposure, especially when compliance standards like ISO 27001 come into play.
IT was spending too much time manually pulling data from different admin panels, tracking things manually, and chasing down details that should have been centralized. Shaun summed it up well when he said, “It provides the information we need for informed decision-making, ensuring fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency.”
We started with the SaaS Discovery Dashboard to give Shaun and his team one unified view of their entire application ecosystem. This exposed apps they didn’t even realize were active. From there, we brought in the License Management Tools to track usage, identify unused seats, and optimize costs immediately.
Next, we implemented Automated Offboarding Notifications to tighten access control. Now, the moment someone leaves the company, the right stakeholders get notified, and app access is revoked on time—no lag, no manual follow-up.
We also activated Access Reviews and Compliance Reports so Shaun’s team could support audit requests without jumping between systems. This is a big deal for companies working toward certifications like ISO 27001.
Finally, Real-time Spend Reporting gave them the visibility they needed to manage vendors and contracts with data in hand—not gut instinct.
We’re now working together to make Josys the default platform for provisioning and consolidated admin access across their environment. That means bringing both SaaS and device management into one control panel, giving Shaun’s team even more operational clarity.
We’re also expanding their audit workflows to better support evolving compliance frameworks, including deeper alignment with ISO 27001. The foundation is solid. Now it’s about scaling smarter, with less friction.
Quantum Brilliance is the kind of team that moves fast, thinks big, and understands the value of getting SaaS right. They didn’t need more tools, they needed a platform to tie everything together. And that’s what we’ve built together through Josys.
They went from spreadsheets and guesswork to automated control and informed decisions, from reactive security steps to proactive offboarding and license optimization. It’s been a great journey to support them, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward with them.
