New Features & Enhancements
New License Management Enhancements
- Add Multiple Plans to an App: IT admins can now add multiple plans to a single application. For instance, if a customer has multi active subscriptions in an app like Adobe, they can add both plans.
- Input Missing License Details: For app data retrieved via license integration, IT admins can now enter missing license values, subscription dates, and expenses. For example, in apps like GWS, where the “Total Licenses” value isn’t available through integration, admins can manually input this information.
- Licenses Section is now enhanced to showcase plans across all apps both integrated and manually inputted. Additionally, admins can also track the “Subscription renewal” of all the apps here.
Send Emails to Users Directly from Josys
Admins can now easily send emails to users asking them about discovered app use, underutilized apps, a device in their possession, and more. The email will automatically include the app or device information. Any replies to these emails will be sent back to the admin who sent the original message.
Microsoft Intune Integration Enhancement
IT admins have the ability to unlink Microsoft Intune (MDM) as a Device Data Source (EDS), providing them with greater flexibility and control over their device management.
When unlinking Intune, admins are presented with two options:
- Retain Devices: Choosing this option will retain all devices in the Josys platform. The source of these devices will change from ‘Intune’ to ‘Josys’.
- Delete Devices: Choosing this option will delete all devices that originated from Intune, along with their associations to user profiles and device assignments.
