New Feature Releases

Jira Integration for Logging Tickets

Managing IT requests often means tracking tasks that can’t be completed directly in your SaaS management platform. With our new Jira integration, IT admins can now automatically log tickets in Jira for any action that can’t be completed within Josys—such as user offboarding, shadow account reviews, or resolving access-related issues.

This integration keeps all follow-up work visible and organized in one place, reducing manual duplication and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Key highlights:

  • Josys now integrates with Jira to auto-log tickets for tasks it can’t complete.

  • Assign tickets to the right owner and route them to the correct Jira project for accountability.

Lock or Wipe Devices Remotely

Protecting company data just got easier. With our new Device Actions capability, administrators can now Lock or Wipe managed devices directly through our MDM integrations with Microsoft Intune or Jamf.

Whether it’s part of an offboarding process or a quick response to lost or stolen hardware, locking or factory resting devices remotely can help your team act fast and safeguard sensitive information.

Highlights:

  • Trigger actions from the Device Details page.

  • Generate a unique recovery PIN for locked devices.

  • Role-based access for managing device action permissions.

Workflow Enhancements

Workflows in Josys just got more powerful and easier to manage.

  • Automated Onboarding Workflow: Auto-assign apps to new hires by role or department, streamlining the onboarding process.

  • Workflow Templates: View all workflows for an app in one place and use pre-configured templates for offboarding, shadow user management, and license optimization.

  • Access Review Integration: Launch workflows directly from the Access Review detail page for contextual follow-up actions.

User Profiles Department Management

For organizations syncing user profiles via External Data Sources (EDS), department management is now more flexible than ever:

  • Create, edit, or remove departments synced from Google Workspace or SmartHR directly from Josys.

  • Opt to exclude the Department field from sync to manage it locally.

  • Create and manage local departments when connected to EDS.

These updates give admins greater control over how departments are created and maintained across connected systems.

New App Integrations

We’re expanding the Josys ecosystem with provisioning and deprovisioning support for:

  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Cursor AI
