Introducing New Josys AI Features

We´ve launched the first wave of Josys AI capabilities-smart features that use AI to streamline identify management and SaaS governance.

1. Spreadsheet Data Enrichment: Simply drag and drop Excel or CSV files into Josys—Josys AI will intelligently map your data into existing datasets. Supported data types include:

• User Profiles
• Devices
• Device Assignment History
• Tracked App Accounts

2. Identity Resolution Engine: Automatically detect and merge duplicate user accounts using behavioral patterns and account signals, reducing identity sprawl and improving data hygiene.

3. Identity Classification Module: Non-human or system-level accounts are now identified, categorized, and scored for confidence—empowering admins to enforce policies with precision.
4. AI-Driven SaaS Contract Parsing: Upload SaaS contracts or PDF invoices and let Josys AI extract and track metadata—terms, pricing, renewal dates—directly into the Managed App Profile. Perfect for budgeting and compliance.

Smarter Shadow User Management

‍

We're excited to announce enhancements to Shadow User Management, giving IT admins more flexibility and control of non-user profile accounts. 

‍

1. Shadow Users are now defaulted as “Unclassified”. Admins can label them as “Authorized” or “Unauthorized”.
2. System Accounts, Guest Users, or Contractors can be safely marked as Authorized without needing full user profile conversion.
3. Authorized Shadow Users are excluded from license usage counts and Managed App shadow metrics—ensuring IT only focuses on reviewing truly unclassified or risky accounts.

Feature Enhancements:

‍New Alerts

We’ve added 4 powerful new alerts to help IT teams act faster on meaningful security events. These alerts use delta logic, triggering notifications only when new incidents occur. This brings our total alert count to 11. 

‍

New alerts include:

1. License Assigned to Shadow Account: Flags potential misuse of paid licenses by unmanaged users.
2. MFA Disabled by a User: Identifies users who may have weakened account security.
3. Privileged Access Granted to Shadow Account: Detects risky permissions granted to unmonitored identities.
4. Privileged Account Without MFA: Surfaces critical accounts lacking MFA protection.

MFA Support for Multi-Tenant Portal

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now available in the Multi-Tenant Portal (MTP). Admins can now enforce stronger access security for all users and tenant-level logins
