New Features & Enhancements

Access Review Surveys

We’re excited to announce the release of Access Review Surveys, making it easy to audit your SaaS stack and reduce license waste. With this feature, admins can send surveys to users to assess their usage, license requirements, and administrative privileges on managed & discovered apps.

It’s easy to select the target users, choose from pre-built questions, view user responses, and take action based on the feedback received.

New Shadow IT Discovery Source: Okta

We have added Okta as a new app discovery source, significantly enhancing our shadow IT discovery capabilities.  

Josys now supports app discovery through Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, Google Workspace, and the Josys Browser Extension, providing comprehensive shadow IT detection.

Discovered Apps User Experience Enhancements

• Multi-Source Discovery:  If an app is discovered from multiple sources, such as both from the Josys Browser Extension and Microsoft Azure AD, we have included both sources to ensure precise attribution.
  
  
• Updated Sorting:  We updated sorting logic by usage and changed the “Last Used” field to display relative dates (e.g., “2 days ago”) for better readability.

License Management Enhancements

• Hiding Plans: We have added the ability to “Hide Plans,” helping declutter the Licenses Dashboard, which is especially useful for plans that admins do not need to track, such as free or trial plans. Hidden plans will be excluded from data aggregation across the app (e.g., Total Licenses, Expenses, etc.)
  
  
• Hidden Defaults:  Additionally, some well-known free plans (e.g., Microsoft Flow Free, Power BI Free) will be hidden by default to improve the user experience. See the plan list here.
  
  
• Expired Licenses:  IT admins can now Edit "Expired Licenses” allowing admins to easily update the renewal date without having to create a New License.
